If all we do is expand problems (what’s not working, what’s missing, who’s to blame, etc.) then all we become is an expert in problems. To become experts in progress then we need to expand possibilities – what is working, what’s worth trying, what’s a first step.
PROBLEM vs POSSIBILITY thinking live in two different parts of the brain. True, the PROBLEM part is five times stronger than the POSSIBILITY bit. So focusing on problems is easy, natural, & normal. Gaining an edge in life then takes discipline – respect the problems, then expand your possibilities.
Do it now – two columns – 1. PROBLEMS vs 2. POSSIBILITY. A possibly life saving exercise: watch this video below. Living in the second column is how you make life rock.
Thanks to BRIEF (https://www.brief.org.uk) for the PROBLEM vs POSSIBILITY idea.
